The Women's Initiative

Description:

Mental health services, including outpatient counseling, therapeutic and social support groups, education, outreach, free walk-in clinic and referral letters for gender-affirming medical care. Counseling services are provided free of charge for uninsured and underinsured cisgender, transgender, and nonbinary/gender-nonconforming individuals, regardless of ability to pay. The Women's Initiative hosts the Cville Trans Women's Circle of the support on 4th Thursdays from 6-7:30 pm and PFLAG and C'Ville Trans Peer support group on 3rd Saturday of each month. 9am-5pm - Monday & Wednesday
9am-8 pm - Tuesday & Thursday
9am-3pm - Friday

Walk-In and Call-In Clinic Schedule
Mondays: Call-in hours 10am-12pm
Tuesdays: Jefferson School City Center Walk-in hours 9am - 11am
Wednesdays: Main Office Walk-in hours 2pm - 5pm
Thursdays: Call-in hours 5pm - 7pm

When ever possible we have black therapist available at each of our wellness clinics. If you would prefer to meet with a therapist of color, please let our staff know when you arrive at or cell our clinic.
