For nearly nine decades, William Byrd Community House has helped individuals and families in the community of Richmond, Virginia achieve self-sufficiency. Our approach is providing a unique array of high-quality prevention-oriented, community-based programs and services. These include nationally accredited early childhood and after school programs, career preparation services for youth, case management and emergency assistance, and outreach programs. We work in partnership with community groups, other nonprofits and the business and public sectors to ensure that our customers and clients have access to high-quality education, housing, health care, employment and nutrition.
