Programs that provide opportunities for the offenders' families to meet with a parole hearing officer to express their views about their family member's upcoming parole. Generally, this is an opportunity for the family to speak out on the offender's behalf. The hearing officer will also answer questions about and explain the parole hearing process to the family.
